Digital Tracking
Force Scales (also called Stylus Gauges)
High
end cartridges feature very low tracking forces, very delicate stylus
assemblies and very high price tags. Those rinky-dink seesaw stylus
scales just don't cut it when a moment's clumsiness can set you back
hundreds of dollars! These little digital beauties allow the serious
audiophile to adjust and confirm stylus pressure with full confidence
and minimal handling. Even if your cartridge isn't so high-end, both it
and your records will benefit from proper adjustment, and sound their
best too.
As an added bonus, these tiny scales fit in your pocket, go anywhere
and can weigh lots of other things besides your tonearm. A number of
our competitors are selling similar-looking scales with MUCH poorer
resolution (0.1g instead of our 0.01G); in some cases for much
more money than ours!

Larger, More Versatile;
the Model 50
This FIVE-digit LCD scale has a 0-200g range, can read
in grams,
ounces, carats and grains, and features the same superior 0.01g
resolution as our model at the right. Tare function, auto-shutoff, a
blue display backlite for use in low light and FOUR TIMES the capacity
of our other model make this the choice if most of your weighing needs
don't strictly revolve around your turntable. A larger flat square
stainless steel (non-ferrous) weighing platform and a flip-up dust
cover with
clear
operating instructions printed on the underside make this scale very
user-friendly. This model is powered by two common AAA batteries
(included). If you routinely
weigh coins, jewelry or other small objects, this is the superior
choice. This scale comes in a colorful display box and carries a sixty
day
defective exchange warranty.

Smaller, More Task-Oriented; the Model 55
This four-digit LCD scale features a 0-50g range, can
also read in grams,
ounces, carats and grains, and has a resolution of 0.01g, more than
sufficient accuracy for tonearm adjustment. It has tare function, which
means it can accurately weigh material placed in a small container such
as a vial or bowl. It's truly tiny (100x80x19mm; about the size of a
pack of playing cards), weighs only 80 grams, and will fit in your
pocket, yet has a larger and very readable display. The slightly
bowl-shaped
platform is near-perfect for phono use. It's powered by two CR2032
button batteries (included), and shuts itself off after a minute of
inactivity should the user forget. Included are a leatherette case and
a clear plastic protector lid to keep the weighing surface clean. This
is just the ticket if you're looking for a gift for the record
enthusiast in your life. This scale comes in a colorful display box and
carries a one year defective exchange warranty.
