This simple but safe and effective switcher allows the connection of up to eight speakers to any stereo, even those without built-in speaker switching ability. Just one pair, all four pairs or any other switch combination can be chosen. Power rating (per channel) is 200 watts, so even large amplifiers are safe to connect. Assuming 8Ω speakers and dependent on the selection chosen, the connected stereo will see a load never lower than 4Ω or higher than 16Ω. Note that this model provides NO overload cutoff protection against shorts; never make or change speaker wiring connections while your stereo is on.
